异硫氰酸荧光素酯是黄色粉末,有吸湿性。其能与各种抗体蛋白结合,结合后的抗体不丧失与一定抗原结合的特异性,并在碱性溶液中仍有强烈绿色荧光,加酸后析出沉淀,荧光消失,微溶于丙酮、乙醚和石油醚。
